Middle East ordeal for British girl

A BRITISH ex-pat yesterday revealed how a boozy romp in Dubai left her at the mercy of killers in a hellhole jail.

Danielle Spencer, 31, danced provocatively for new fella Toby Carroll then stripped naked and covered them both with baby oil as they launched into a passionate clinch on his bed.
But his enraged Brazilian girlfriend Priscila Ferreira burst in and threw herself into a wild attack in which she CHASED Danielle into the bathroom and threatened to KILL the pair with a kitchen knife.

Danielle told how police were called to the bust-up - before all three were thrown into jail for breaking strict Muslim morality laws.
The medieval squalor in the cells was almost too much to bear and incredibly Danielle was forced to SHARE a filthy, bug-infested single bed with the woman accused of attempting to kill her.
In the first interview following her release, Danielle told The Sun: "Dubai is a place where the bars are bursting with booze and hookers yet having sex with someone is viewed as serious a crime as trying to kill them.
"I don't know what stinks more - the filthy jail I ended up in or the hypocrisy."
Dark-haired Danielle, from Hull, had worked as a dancer at plush clubs around the globe before moving to Dubai five years ago and launching a career as a property analyst.
The merchant seaman's daughter - who used to earn as much as £1,700 a night as a dancer - went to night school to study for a degree in communications and was revelling in the emirate's party lifestyle when she met wealthy banker Toby, 34.
The handsome Kiwi used his white Porsche 911 to whisk her on a string of dates before inviting her back to his luxury apartment following a vodka-fuelled night at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club.
Danielle said: "We'd been getting on like a house on fire and after three dates I went back to his.
"He didn't have any booze at his flat so I popped to see a pal in the same block and came back with a bottle of vodka but stupidly forgot to lock his door as I came back in.
"We then proceeded to get very drunk and I decided to put on a sexy little show for him.
"I gave him a personal dance until I was entirely naked and we wound up kissing passionately and fooling around on the sofa. We moved to the bedroom and I found some baby oil so spiced things up by covering us both in it.
"But just as we were about to launch into a wild sex session I heard this shrieking Latino voice and felt this weight crash on to us.

"I was a bit dazed but realised there was a crazy woman in the room attacking us.
"I had no idea Toby had a girlfriend but she was screaming and beating us with one of her shoes.
"She tried to grab me but luckily I was so oily she couldn't get a proper grip and I managed to lock myself in the bathroom. I was stuck in there for two hours while she attacked Toby and completely wrecked his flat.

"Then I heard a steady thud against the bathroom door as she started stabbing it with a knife.
"I begged Toby to call the police and the moment they arrived she transformed from a homicidal maniac into a tearful little girl.
"We protested that we didn't want to press any charges and apologised but the police smiled then led us out over the debris and said it would all be sorted out if we signed a paper at the station."

The trio were taken to the infamous Bur Dubai Police Station where they signed unintelligible papers written in Arabic before being taken down to holding cells - where Danielle and her stunning 25-year-old attacker Priscila spent the next 32 days.
They were pushed into a foul cell with six other women - including a wild-eyed Russian awaiting trial for murder - and forced to sleep side by side on a stained, bug-infested single mattress. Danielle said: "I thought I was going to die in that prison cell.
"Every time we asked guards about our case they shouted 'Sit down and shut up'.
"When we were locked up, I put my hand on Priscila's shoulder and said, 'I'm so sorry, I didn't even know you existed'. We realised we were in this together and that we would have to get along to survive.
"Every night we would squeeze into our disgusting single bed and cling to each other, sleeping with one eye open because we didn't trust the Russian girl nearby who had been accused of murder.
"It seemed crazy I was having to share a bed with a woman who was accused of attempting to stab me to death and that she was actually becoming my friend."
Danielle was convicted of sex outside marriage, even though she claimed she had not actually managed to have sex with Toby before Priscila burst in. She was handed a one-month jail sentence.
Toby was given two months for having illegal sex with both women. Priscila was fined £170 and given one month for having sex with Toby and a further month for threatening to kill the lovers with a knife.
But even though she had served more than her jail term on remand, Danielle's nightmare was far from over.

She was bailed but obliged to return to court for sentencing - and found herself ferried straight to another detention centre.
Danielle had no intention of appealing, having served longer on remand, and expected to be deported. But she claimed her Arab lawyer developed a CRUSH on her - and dragged out the proceedings so he could woo her.
Danielle, who declined to identify the lawyer, said: "He was a creepy, chubby little man. Alarm bells started to ring when he realised I was worried about the legal costs and asked for a kiss as a 'down payment'.
"He started talking about taking me away to a romantic island. He was making a big play for me.
"I was aghast. A lawyer involved in my case for sleeping with someone outside marriage was trying to sleep with me outside marriage.
"His pestering came to a head when I went back to court for sentencing. He ignored my request not to appeal and I'm convinced he did it so I'd be stuck in Dubai where he could still pursue me.
"When I was locked up again I wanted to scream. I couldn't trust my own lawyer - in fact, I couldn't trust anyone in Dubai.
"The jail we were taken to was much tougher than the holding cell and we were ordered to keep our heads covered at all times with veils to protect our 'modesty'."

Danielle ditched her lawyer after two days in jail and decided to make a personal, direct appeal to the state prosecutor, begging him to deport her as soon as possible.
But she was sent straight back to the grim detention centre where she lived in fear among thieves and prostitutes for a further seven days before finally being put on a flight to the UK.
Toby and Priscila remain in prison and are due to be released later this month. Like Danielle, they will be deported and banned for life from Dubai immediately.
Danielle - who has started her new life in the US - said: "I couldn't be happier to get away.
"I'm banned from Dubai and virtually every other Arab country - and I'm absolutely delighted."
